What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autism Mentor/Caregiver position at ASCEND?
Christian families are seeking kind, energetic, and professional individuals or couples for a brand new agriculture based residential and day treatment program in rural Yavapai County. This position would be for one of four caregivers for five special needs adult men. This home is a brand new 4300 square foot custom home on 18 acres of gated property. Privately operated non-profit agency directing this new project has a 15 year history serving special needs families in this community. Duties include but are not limited to, cooking, cleaning, assistance with daily living skills, shopping, laundry, assistance with communication and community outings and involvement, and transportation in company vehicles. Contract completion bonuses offered for 12, 24, or 36 month agreements. All necessary training will be provided, but experience in this field will be preferred. This is a unique model with extensive client family involvement. Staff will also be provided with ample time off, as well as overtime pay. Drug testing, background check, DPS fingerprint clearance, clean driving record, and references are required.
