Position: Electrical Engineer- Data Center and Telecommunications
Location: Richmond, VA
Summary:
Are you an experienced Construction Project Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, data centers, and telecommunications? Join us in this exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects with one of the global leaders. You’ll play a pivotal role in applying engineering principles to optimize industrial layouts, improve production efficiency, and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve processes involving time, motion, and production speed to establish efficient workflows.
- Interpret and create engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- Collaborate with management and engineering teams to ensure quality and reliability standards.
- Prepare and present charts, graphs, and layouts to illustrate workflow and material handling processes.
- Monitor and validate equipment operation, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Aid in planning work assignments to align with performance metrics and production schedules.
- Evaluate data and prepare reports to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Handle material aspects of projects, including tracking deliveries and reviewing project material lists.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in construction, data centers, or a related field.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Proficiency in tools like Bluebeam, Excel, SharePoint, and other engineering-related software.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of telecommunications and electrical engineering principles.

Salary Range: $ 120000 - 124000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
