Hotel General Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a commitment to providing outstanding guest services while ensuring the efficient management of hotel resources. The Hotel General Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving overall hotel performance.

Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services.
• Supervise staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment.
• Oversee night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve service delivery.
• Manage human resources functions including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of hotel staff.
• Maintain effective communication with guests to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Monitor hotel performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve operational goals.
• Collaborate with department heads to create an efficient workflow and optimize resource allocation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar leadership role within the hotel industry.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective guest interactions.
• Familiarity with front desk operations, including night audit procedures.
• Knowledge of customer service best practices and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in resort management is a plus but not mandatory.
• A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
