What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bottling Lead Operator - 2nd Shift position at Aspire Pharmaceuticals Inc?
SUMMARY:
Manage line workers and processes; including leading, planning, and directing bottling personnel to produce quality products at the lowest cost per unit. The lead operator will train and motivate production personnel to achieve production goals.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Previous 3-5 years experience in a pharmaceutical or related industry. Knowledge of GMP standards. Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Excellent writing and math skills required. Experience operating CVC and Aesus equipment desirable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall performance of the assigned packaging line.
- Using provided performance metrics suggest improvements and drive positive change.
- Must be able to operate, the cartooning machine, make repairs/adjustments/PM’s
- Use SMED (single minute exchange of dies) ideology to drive constant improvements to the changeover process.
- Provide proper training and oversight to ensure product quality is at or above acceptable guidelines.
- Complete all paperwork including batch records accurately.
- Ensure all SOP’s and cGMP’s are being followed.
- Able to perform basic troubleshooting and setup of all packaging equipment.
- Provide feedback on team member performance.
- Assist Bottling Supervisor in encouraging a team first positive culture.
