Asset Partners Group, LLC is hiring for one of our clients for this exciting role!

We are a Vancouver, WA based real estate developer with projects in the Portland metropolitan area and are looking for a Site Superintendent to join our growing team. We build residential housing projects, mostly condominiums, townhomes, and apartments up to 18 units.

We are looking for a Site Superintendent, who can lead projects efficiently, maintain quality, and manage relationships. Under the oversight of the Project Manager, the Site Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field operations of each project.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a minimum 3 years in residential construction and a passion for operational excellence, quality, and efficiency. This individual must have the ability to plan ahead to coordinate multiple job sites in various stages of construction. Here are the core responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire construction process, ensuring seamless execution while staying on schedule and within budget.
  • Oversee the organization, scheduling, and implementation of the project to execute the design elements provided by the PM and the design/architectural team, and direct various teams to complete the tasks that integrate the building structure.
  • Supervise daily site operations, managing personnel, materials, equipment, budgets, schedules, and contracts while ensuring overall job site safety.
  • As needed, be responsible for the selection, hiring, and oversight of specialty subcontractors.
  • Regularly review engineering, architectural drawings, and specifications to monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Set up and update projects in the internal software systems and follow established processes to ensure efficient completion of each project.
  • Meet regularly with owners, subcontractors, and other design professionals to monitor and coordinate all phases of the construction project. Interact with city officials and neighbors as needed.
  • Monitor job site conditions proactively, identifying potential issues and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Experience & Education: Minimum 3 years in construction with increasing responsibility; high school diploma required, college-level coursework preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in reading contracts, plans, and construction drawings; knowledgeable about materials, methods, state and local construction codes, regulations, requirements and practices.
  • Software Skills: Familiar using project management software for scheduling, tracking; comfortable using Google Suite and various AI tools.
  • Physical & Work Conditions: Must be in good physical condition to navigate job sites; able to work in a fast-paced environment and make good decisions when dealing with unexpected occurrences or delays.
  • Communication & Coordination: Strong written/oral communication; able to manage multiple tasks, resolve issues, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Professionalism: Skilled in negotiations, maintaining confidentiality, and building strong relationships; must be eligible to work in the U.S

  • Competitive base pay incentive pay totaling in the range of $85,000 - $100,000/year.

  • Paid time off plan: Starts at 2 weeks and starting in third year goes to 3 weeks.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
