Overview
Our Lancaster office is hiring for a Claims Manager. Are the Subject Matter Expert with everthing concerning claims? If So, then this is the perfect job for you. Your will handle property and casualty claims for large and mid-market commercial clients. You will monitor and review new claims and establish a plan of action to achieve a favorable results, and reviews claims status and reserves and provides updates to clients and internal staff. Advocates, consults and provides coverage advice to clients as appropriate.

What You'll Do
- Independently and pro-actively manages claims for assigned accounts including complex and challenging issues.
- Works closely with clients, account executives, producers, managers and insurance carriers.
- Investigates coverage questions and problems.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely fashion following established guidelines.
- Operates independently and can service demanding clients who expect prompt attention.
- Actively researches and obtains claims data from carriers
- Advocates for the best possible claim outcome for clients.
- Attends and facilitates client meetings and claim reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel is expected to be 25% in this role.

What You'll Need
- 5 years of related claims experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Tech savvy; ability to learn multiple systems including Microsoft Office Suite and Agency Management software
- Has a detailed understanding of claim coverages, processing, policy construction and the insurance industry in general
- Valid Adjuster or Property and Casualty Agent license preferred
- Professional designations preferred
