Scientist II (Quality Control)

A leading biotech client of ours located in NJ is seeking a experienced QC Scientist to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to join a QC team that focuses on analysis of complex proteins and monoclonal antibodies, directly supporting R&D efforts within the biotechnology industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing to support in-process, release, raw materials, and stability programs.
• Perform both bioassays and chemical analysis of samples
• Carry out testing (HPLC, ELISA, SDS Page, etc.)
• Review, analyze, and report analytical data

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc. and 2 years of related QC experience
• Expertise in both analytical and biological techniques such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, cell-based bioassays, ELISA strongly preferred
• Prior experience within the biotechnology of pharmaceutical industry required
