Athletico is Hiring a Compliance Analyst Near Des Moines, IA

As a Compliance Analyst, you will support activities to ensure that our organization’s operations and procedures meet government, industry and internal compliance standards. This position will assist in researching and responding to matters and providing information to management related to their research and analysis to mitigate future risks. Primary Responsibilities: Correspond and/or collaborate with internal departments regarding procedures, standards, processes and requirements, including some complex matters. Participate in and represent Compliance in compliance and/or business driven project work. Compile and gather data and draft correspondence as appropriate for internal or external compliance reports, complaints, investigations, subpoena’s and/or other inquiries (including departmental, legal, and/or regulatory inquiries or exams). Develop and/or maintain policies and procedures and compliance training course material. Contribute and/or participate in any risk monitoring activities, exams, and audits (internal or external). Assist and/or contribute to metrics and reporting. Provide peer review for other compliance personnel or business partners (correspondence/letter review, training course feedback, etc.) Assist with research, review, and analysis of industry regulations, statutory obligations, and product requirements. Other duties and projects as assigned. Key Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Typically, one (1) or more years of experience in compliance and/or industry / regulatory experience. FINRA registrations (e.g., S6, S26, S7, S24) may be necessary for certain functions. Detail oriented, organized, ability to maintain accurate documentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to collaborate with peers and management on objectives that may be more complex or specialized in nature. Works independently with minimal guidance. Provides solutions to atypical/infrequent problems based on existing precedents or procedures, and suggests improvements to existing processes. Able to provide informal support to junior team members.
