Electrician (wage $29.50 per hour)
Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for an Electrician to be based out of Fort Mill, SC. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this person’s primary focus is to perform skilled preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on equipment and associated buildings, including interior and exterior lighting and wiring systems.
What you’ll do:
- Test, locate, and repair trouble in electrical circuits and equipment; perform electronic equipment repair and troubleshooting; repair and replace broken or defective parts.
- Repair and replace broken or defective parts, repair electrical motors, parts, wiring, and other electrical devices.
- Use principles, methods, and equipment knowledge to install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems.
- Knowledgeable of Program Logic Controllers (PLC) programming and the ability to troubleshoot.
- Exercise judgment and initiative within established guidelines.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and manuals.
- All other duties assigned.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- 3 years of experience doing electrical/mechanical maintenance in an industrial/ manufacturing environment.
- Must have strong Mechanical and Electrical skill sets.
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations, codes, and ordinances about work safety practices, safe work methods, and safety regulations related to the work.
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events calmly and logically.
- Experience and knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles preferred.
- Must work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

- Complete any required training
- Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
