POSITION SUMMARY

The Employee Relations Analyst will perform specialized technical and administrative support for the Office of Employee Relations. The Analyst is responsible for administrative support to investigative management staff, creates reports, templates, and works on administrative projects, and maintains a high level of confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Tracks and maintains files and case/matter management data
  • Coordinates and facilitates document production in response to subpoenas, open records, and other official requests
  • Provides research and administrative support to the Office of Employee Relations
  • Researches, drafts, and prepares documents related to investigations
  • Creates and maintains investigative complaint logs
  • Ensures that legal discovery requests are complete and responded to on time
  • Records audio and video data as needed for the investigative unit
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism as it relates to past, present, and future investigations
  • Assists with investigations in an organized and resilient manner
  • Prepares, reviews, and submits travel expense reports for the investigative unit.
  • Required to have prompt, regular attendance in-person or virtually and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular business hours, and as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative

Strength: to lift, push, pull and/or carry objects which weigh as much as 5 or more pounds on a frequent basis. Incumbent may be required to physically restrain parties involved in a conflict.

Environmental Requirements: encounter constant work interruptions; work cooperatively with others; work independently; work indoors.

Mental Requirements: read, write, understand, interpret and apply information at a moderately complex level essential for successful job performance; math skills at a high school proficiency level; judgement and the ability to process information quickly; learn quickly and follow verbal procedures and standards; give verbal instruction; rank tasks in order of importance; copy, compare, compile and coordinate information and records.
