What are the responsibilities and job description for the Racquet Shop Manager position at Atlantic Beach Country Club?
Atlantic Beach Country Club (Atlantic Beach, FL) is seeking a Racquets Shop Manager to join our quickly growing program and be an integral part of our newly constructed state of the art Center Court facility including Shop, Professional offices, and a covered outdoor gathering area.
The Racquets Shop Manager oversees the appearance and operations of the Shop at Center Court and supports the overall operation of the facility and greater "northside" activities. The Shop Manager will spend most of their hours stationed in the Shop and perform his/her managerial tasks as operations allow. S/he will be responsible for creating a warm, safe, and inviting atmosphere while providing proactive service and making members and guests feel welcome.
The Shop Manager will be a conduit for member communication and scheduling, be active in merchandise management, and provide other support to ensure the smooth operation of the racquets facility, all with a welcoming and professional attitude. The ideal candidate has a great attitude, ability to multitask and willingness to learn. They will be energetic, proactive, collaborative, communicative and enjoy being part of a team and growing and improving each day! Previous experience in retail management, tennis or pickleball play, and/or inventory management is required.
