Drafter/Designer (Solidworks Certification)

Qualifications:

• Very strong understanding of Solidworks software (a must).
• Knowledge of configuration software functionality (a plus).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with fabrications processes, including welding, laser cutting, press brake.
• Blueprint reading capabilities required.
• Knowledge of BOM structures.
• Strong sense of organization, attention to detail, and a natural drive to self-check one's own work for accuracy.
• Ability to balance competing demands while accurately completing tasks in a timely manner.
• This includes maintaining a resilient disposition when adapting to occasional interruptions and changes, delays, and unexpected events.

Drafter/Designer education and training requirements:

• Two year Associate or Technical degree, a Solidworks Certification, with two or more years experience in a manufacturing environment - preferred.
• Solidworks Certification, with 2 or more years Solidworks experience, and four or more years manufacturing experience - is accepted
• Alternatively, eight or more years experience in a manufacturing environment, and at least two years of experience working with AutoCad or Solidworks - possible

Pay: $52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
