Your Role
At Atlas Copco, we believe that passionate people create exceptional things. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. If you have a knack for mechanical and electrical hands-on work and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you! The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. This is an onsite position located in Voorheesville, NY.
As a Mechanical Assembler, your main mission will be to assemble or disassemble Compressors, Blowers, and associated products. You will use common hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric hand tools, cranes, and fork trucks. Your duties will include:
- Mechanical Assembly.
- Motor/Compressor alignment.
- Electrical Box Assembly.
- Electrical Box Installation and Connection.
- Instrument Wiring and Piping.
- Oil and Water Piping.
- Hydrostatic Testing.
- Reading and understanding assembly and wiring drawings.
- Inspecting and testing assembled parts.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following safety protocols and procedures.
To succeed, you will need
- A high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical hands-on work.
- Ability to read and understand assembly and wiring drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- The base salary range for this position is $22.50 to $45.00 an hour.
