Founded in 2021, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) is a nonprofit, four-year MD program enhancing traditional medical education with the arts, humanities, and whole health principles. The School's culture embraces self-care to empower students to care for their own well-being as well as their patients'. The School's state-of-the-art medical education facility is under construction in Bentonville, Arkansas on the Crystal Bridges campus, home to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Heartland Whole Health Institute. The School has been granted preliminary accreditation status by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.

About The Position
The Clinical Skills Educators (CS Educators) will assist in the instruction and implementation of the Clinical Skills I-IV courses where medical students will learn patient-centered interviewing, physical examination, medical documentation, professionalism, procedural skills, clinical reasoning, and shared patient-centered management planning. Students and Educators will predominantly work with standardized patients (SPs) in small group activities.
These CS Educators will assist in the facilitation, implementation, and grading of performance-based clinical skills assessments such as providing formative feedback, grading objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs), and other types of assessments within the clinical curriculum. The recruited candidate must be committed to excellence in instruction, facilitation, assessment, and mentoring medical students. Instruction will primarily occur on the AWSOM medical school campus : 1001 NE J Street, Bentonville, AR.
These are part-time positions, approximately four (4) to six (6) hours per week and will report to the Director of Clinical Skills. The CS Educators will actively interact with the Standardized Patient (SP) Manager, the Clinical Skills Operations Manager, SPs, staff and other faculty members.

The position is open at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor levels, depending on experience and qualifications.
