The Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for the endowed Khaled Chair in Political Science and International Policy. This is a nine-month full-time tenure-eligible faculty appointment; rank commensurate based on professional experience. The endowment provides the Khaled Chair with a summer research stipend, research and travel support, and a reduced teaching load. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in political science or a related field. The position begins with the Fall 2025 semester.
The Department of Political Science and Public Administration offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in political science and a NASPAA-accredited master’s degree program in public administration. The successful candidate will teach introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses in international relations, graduate courses, mentor undergraduate and graduate students, and develop programming of interest to the campus and the wider community. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a distinguished record of publication and research are required. Candidates who have experience successfully delivering online courses are especially encouraged to apply.
