Audi of Lubbock, Texas, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Used Car Service Technician to join our growing family and help "Make Confidence Happen"

Here is what you will be doing:
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Keep shop area neat and clean.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
- Perform multi-point inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
- Recondition as per used car managers authorization.
- Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
- Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Here is what you will need:
- Previous experience as a service technician required
- Strong automotive background
- Manufacture ASE certifications preferred
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
- Valid driver's license
