Electrical Engineering Tech I
Pay Range- $30.00-$40.00/ Hour
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in related area with 2 years of related experience; or high school graduate with 5 years of related hands-on electrical and mechanical experience
Experience in handling in-house service orders mandatory.
Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
Experience in reading electrical schematics and used to working with standard electrical test equipment.
Very good basic knowledge of fault analysis and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Experience in working with 3 phase 480V equipment.
Ability to travel on short notice and possibly extended stay (if required)
Good planning and organization skills.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Ability to communicate technical information in verbal and written formats.
Independent and committed way of working with an open and cultivated appearance (self-starter mentality);
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
Ability to distinguish colors on electrical components:
This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Responsibilities:
As Service Technician Industrial Lighting Systems, you will perform preventative and demand maintenance on industrial light equipment
The position includes providing technical support for our customers via phone and email and preparation of quotes
Independent execution of commissioning or service tasks for our systems with focus in the US- both in the workshop and at customer sites including.
Evaluation and repair of electromechanical industrial special lighting equipment and on-site preventative maintenance, startup, and training services.
Troubleshooting and sales and customer support via telephone and email.
Documentation of work (e.g. scope of damage/repair, test/fault reports) and feedback in SAP and CRM to enable quotations.
Execute assembly of electromechanical equipment for our custom projects if needed.
Maintain a high-level of customer satisfaction through virtual and in person interactions.
If required, coordination with internal interfaces such as sales, innovation, customer service, logistics.
Support with goods receiving and shipping in service department.
