Austin Industrial, Inc. -We are currently seeking an experienced Timekeeper to be based in Houston, TX.
This position requires a Valid Driver's License and TWIC Card- (must have card) & PIN #.
This is an ongoing position working 5/10's. No Per Diem or travel allowance.

Timekeeper is responsible for tracking employee time entries, administering paid time off, and ensuring that employees’ hours are properly paid and recorded. Timekeepers are crucial for companies since they verify employee hours, ensure accuracy, and ensure that the company stays compliant with relevant laws.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer and prepare weekly payroll and verify time reports to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare controls and merge with other data required for preparation of payroll.
- Prepare control documents for use in reconciling one or more of the following: payroll, payables, and receivables transactions.
- Prepare the preparation of pay estimates, cost reports, etc.
- Assist with new employee sign up's, basic personnel administration activities, and general administration.
- Assist with preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual closing statements, reports and invoices.
- Assist with monitoring subcontractor cost and issuance of back charges.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
- Distribute payroll.
- Train new payroll employees.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
Must have TWIC Card
Education – no minimum education requirements.
Experience – Excellent understanding of timekeeping systems and calculations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
