Auto Image, Inc is an Aftermarket Automotive Accessory Company, located in Plainwell, MI is hiring a full-time position to do Spray-in Bedliners and Entry Level Technician Installer. This is an exciting role with a growing automotive aftermarket company. We're looking for a candidate to work the day shift Monday-Friday. Approximate hours will be 8AM-5PM 5 days per week.
The Spray-In Bedliner Technician is fully responsible for the daily operations of Spray-In Bedliner program. All aspects of the Spray-In Bedliner application process which includes but not limited to vehicle preparation, bedliner application, equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and inventory control. All required training will be provided.
Daily work will consist of:
· Spraying Bedliners
· Prepping surface of vehicles
· Maintaining Spray Equipment
Responsibilities:
· Perform all necessary procedures to prepare, apply bedliner, and clean and detail trucks as instructed
· Adhere to all safety standards throughout the bedliner production process
· Keep shop area clean and properly maintained
· Keep tools and equipment in optimal conditions to ensure that they are working properly including maintenance of equipment and other tools
· Maintain correct inventory to ensure continued daily production
· Complete quality control after each vehicle
Requirements:
· Detail oriented
· Must be capable of wearing a full-face respirator
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Challenges:
· Time Management: Need to follow an established workflow to meet production numbers
· Detail Oriented: Need to ensure that all trucks meet the quality standards in appearance, cleanliness, and timeliness
The technician will install/assemble/disassemble aftermarket accessories; such as leather installation in vehicles, and misc. repairs.
Some level of hands-on experience is required but we're willing to train the right individual. This is an ideal role for an automotive enthusiast looking to get their start in the industry.
