Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your expertise in automotive service management and mechanical knowledge will help ensure that our clients receive the highest quality service and support for their vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional service throughout their visit.
• Assess customer needs by discussing vehicle issues and recommending appropriate services, including oil changes, tire service, shocks and struts, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Prepare detailed estimates for services required, ensuring transparency in pricing and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service performed, and follow-up actions needed.
• Stay updated on dealership promotions, new products, and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of vehicles including familiarity with oil changes, tire services, alignments, shocks, struts, and suspension systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
