Project Manager
Autoliv is currently looking to fill the role of a Project Manager at its Technical Center. The role entails directing all phases of program development by leading cross-functional teams while working with multiple departments within Autoliv and at customers.
• Lead cross functional teams in the successful execution of Autoliv projects by driving cross-functional teams to meet launch KPIs (flawless launch)
• Responsible for managing project budget including engineering income, development budget, EBIT Uplift targets etc. Must use Financial acumen and focus on profitability improvements for the projects
• Responsible for building and maintaining detailed Schedules, tracking deliverables and achieving milestone targets (internal and external)
• Responsible for direct communication and interaction with customers for project related matters
• Coordinate project execution in accordance with the Autoliv Product Development System (APDS) to meet all critical internal and customer and manufacturing milestones
• Practice proactive mindset – have ability to see what is coming, initiate the team to start on time, and escalate when support is needed in order to deliver on time
What is required:• Bachelor degree from an accredited university (pref. Engineering - ME, EE, IE, etc.)
• Previous experience in automotive product development and project launches (as Cross functional team member or leader)
• Proficiency in MS project
• Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced work environment with skilled prioritization of tasks, and ability to make timely decisions
• Detail-oriented with capability to dig into data and drive conclusions
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally, as required
• Basic knowledge of Spanish language is a plus
