Electrician

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical blueprints.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and procedures.
• Use a variety of tools and techniques to repair and maintain electrical systems.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Assist other trades in Facilities Maintenance as requested.
• Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning system
  
  

What Is Required

• Completion of electrician apprenticeship with an accredited apprenticeship program.
• Journeyman Electrician licensed in the State of Utah (5 Years)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Communication skills and ability to work well on a team.
• Understands NFPA70E and LOTO procedures.
• Ability to use lift equipment and work from heights.
