What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering summer intern position at Autoliv?
What You’ll Do
- Work with the cross-functional teams (BUs, Plant, Quality, etc.)
- Provide support to engineering team with various core and customer projects
- Proactively learn what is needed to provide increased support
- Mechanical engineering-based work
- Support team with their projects by assisting with sample builds, testing, part review, data analysis, presentations, etc.
- Essential activities include completing build requests, test orders, part teardowns, data review, and test reports
- Potentially urgent quality or customer concerns need quick but thorough and accurate review to determine root cause
- Work with the cross-functional teams (BUs, Plant, Quality, etc.)
- Working towards mechanical engineering degree in an accredited University
- Being open-minded and willing to listen to the experienced engineers on the team
- Proactively seeking out work when other tasks are complete or on hold
- Being able to balance work on longer term large project with smaller more basic tasks
