⦁ Automotive Billing Clerk

Doherty Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Automotive Billing Clerk to join our growing team! This position handles all facets of billing of vehicle deals including packaging of the deal. Must have the ability to read and interpret sales contracts, tag and title documents, warranties and other deal related documents. A basic understanding of sales tax calculations for automotive sales, gross profit calculations and commissions is a must. The right candidate will be a self-starter, independent, work well under pressure, and have a solid background in accounting. You must have the ability to communicate problems in a concise manner and have the organizational skills to follow up on problems.

Responsibilities:

⦁ Examines contracts to assure conformity to specified requirements

⦁ Various month-end reports

⦁ Processes paperwork on a timely basis

⦁ Post new and used deals to accounting books

⦁ Reconcile sales commission

⦁ Reconcile schedules

⦁ Other duties to be determined by management

Job Requirements:

⦁ Minimum of 2 years’ experience

⦁ CDK knowledge a PLUS

⦁ Strong attention to detail

⦁ Effective Communicator

⦁ Excellent math ability

⦁ Team-oriented and comfortable in an open office

⦁ Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks.
