Position Summary:

The Assistant CRM Marketing Manager leads the strategic and project-related activities for email, SMS and push notifications. This individual will create and optimize these programs to build highly engaged audiences and deliver the right messages at the right time with the right content.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works closely with and supports the CRM Marketing Manager.
• Manages email, SMS and push programs, developing and executing direct marketing strategies to retain current customers and engage new ones.
• Writes creative briefs and requirement documentation for direct marketing projects.

• Conducts A/B tests on campaigns to further improve marketing efforts, taking an analytical approach and turning insights into actionable plans.
• Assists in building analyses and insights of direct marketing program performance.
• Acts as the liaison between AutoZone, agency and vendor partners in generating content for use in direct marketing campaigns.
• Prepares presentation materials specific to direct marketing program performance to share with leadership.

Position Skills and Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field
• 2 years of experience in marketing/advertising
• Experience building, implementing, and analyzing marketing campaigns from initial briefing to sharing out results and insights
• Previously worked across teams to produce coordinated content (including external agency and vendor partners
• Self-starter with ability to clearly communicate and execute against strategic initiatives with minimal oversight
• Excellent time management, organization and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to change
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience in direct marketing and/or CRM management preferred
