JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a Field Service Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service and solutions to our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to customer sites to perform warranty work, modifications, and repairs on Avail products while supporting the Quality department as an on-site inspector at our facilities.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this position is based in Chattanooga, TN with up to 75% travel.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of related experience in the industrial electrical field.
- Basic welding experience and familiarity with NEC and manufacturing codes.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting drawings, designs, and blueprints.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and maintain composure in challenging situations.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Customer Focus: A commitment to providing exceptional service by developing solutions tailored to customer needs and fostering strong relationships.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Travel to customer sites to analyze and perform repairs, warranty work, or modifications on Avail products.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Direct and coordinate work crews of contract workers at job sites, ensuring adherence to safety and security protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports on work orders, warranty tasks, and field service projects.
- Perform inspector duties for the Quality department at Avail facilities.
