Position: Medical Office Administration and Administration Coordinator
Avant Psychiatry is a new and growing prominent Psychiatry Office opening with three locations. This position is available for full time only at this time. This position also provides great opportunity for advancement with new offices and virtual openings as we continue to grow. We would love the find the perfect candidate that can grow with us from office administration into upper management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Most Qualified Candidates will be experienced in Customer Service or Front Office Administration.
POSITION:
We are looking for an organized and detailed individual to contribute to our organization and streamline workflow through the coordination of all medical assistant/receptionist functions in a clinical office setting.
Responsibilities may include:
- Greet patient, screen, interview, and record vital signs to include weight, height, and blood pressure appropriate to training and/or certification and at the provider’s discretion.
- Be able to train and use EHR/EMR and assist with notes of patient social and health history
- Assess patient chief complaints
- Respond to patient / pharmacy refill requests and prior authorizations for medications in a timely manner.
- Capture and enter patient demographics, insurance, and financial information with 100% accuracy
- Identify insurance coverage and payer requirements for patient services, process insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and other benefit information for patients
- Process patients quickly and accurately through computer based patient flow system for check-in, check-out, future appointments, and follow-up visits
- Collect patient balances and manage daily tracking for co-pay, co-insurance, and deductible collections
- Order office and medical supplies through Office Coordinator/Manager
- Maintain and support patient's rights to care, privacy, and respect
- Communicates effectively with providers and onsite staff
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Pay Based on Experience with opportunity for rapid growth.
