Legal Billing Clerk | San Francisco, CA | Up to $40.86 / hour

What You'll Do :
Process and submit invoices through various e-billing platforms.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse client billing requirements.
Communicate daily with attorneys and clients regarding billing matters.
Track and manage proformas, noting dates and statuses.
Generate invoices and compile cost backups in line with client guidelines.
Update client information in LMS V, including names, addresses, and billing rates.
Ensure the accuracy of billing data and adjust rates as necessary.
Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Assist with accounting tasks such as filing, accounts payable, general ledger updates, cash applications, and bank reconciliations.
What You'll Need :
5 years of experience in legal billing, preferably with a focus on insurance defense billing.
Bachelor’s degree, ideally with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred
Experience with SurePoint (LMS V and LMS ), ProLaw or similar document management systems, and various electronic billing platforms.
Familiarity with split billing processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word).
