Job Summary
Performs direct, routine patient care activities for patients to promote comfort, maintain or enhance their function abilities and contribute to their overall plan of care. In addition, they will perform receptionist and clerical duties for nursing service including pharmacy coding, communication tasks, transcription, typing and computer entry. Knowledge of facility procedure, standing orders, phone and paging system is imperative.
Education and/or Experience
- One month related experience and/or training preferred.
- Due to the operation of certain power equipment, the legal minimum age for this job is 18 years.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- Nursing assistant certification preferred.
Work Schedule
- Ability to work various shifts as scheduled
- 72 hours per 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
