What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Planning Supervisor position at Aveva Drug Delivery Systems Inc?
This position is responsible for lead the supply chain team and over see the end-to-end supply chain planning for commercialized finished goods products, integrating with R&D, new product launches, post-launch projects, and Opex projects to support process optimization. The role involves executing the tactical planning horizon (0-12 months) for commercialized products, analyzing customer forecasts, and ensuring supply and demand dynamics are considered in decision-making. Key responsibilities include reviewing customer POs, addressing any deviations to ensure alignment with monthly production schedules, and reporting supply KPIs and business objectives performance on a weekly/monthly basis. The position will utilize the JDE system to manage planning activities, release work orders for secondary packaging operations to support the production plan, and support critical business processes. Additionally, this role will support the CPO's third-party packaging process by executing subcontracting services POs, managing the day-to-day relationship to oversee package components inventory, providing forecasts, aligning on monthly production schedules, and coordinating shipments with the logistics team to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries to customer.
Education
College or University appropriate discipline preferred
Supply Chain Management Certification a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent understanding of ERP/JDE processes and master data related to supply chain planning
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with strong to advanced Excel capabilities
Knowledge of operational supply chain processes, including the flow of materials and information
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks, short lead times and adjust priorities in a professional manner
Ability to work independently or within an integrated team environment
Ability to perform situational root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective action

Proficient with Microsoft applications
