Job Summary:
Avsurance has an immediate position available for an Insurance Risk Management Administrator. The position requires interaction with management and employees through excellent written and verbal communication. Responsible for providing and processing information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding insurance. The position requires critical thinking, inductive and deductive reasoning skills, as well as the ability and persistence to face obstacles, take on challenges, and demonstrate effort towards task resolution. One must be capable of working in a high-pressure environment and possess strong time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Duties:
•Manage multiple corporate insurance renewals concurrently by supporting the Avfuel and Avflight insurance programs
•Carefully review contracts, identify and assess potential risks, and provide recommendations.
•Ensure contracts accurately reflect the intended agreements between parties
•Provide excellent service to management and employees.
•Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
•Process, prepare, record data to worksheets and submit business forms
•Review and verify data on insurance applications and policies
•Organize and work with detailed office records, maintain files and policies.
•Contact the corporation's broker to process policy changes, analyze insurance program, and suggest changes
•Plan future follow-ups
•Resolve certificate of insurance requests and follow up for customer certificates.
•Review certificates to verify they meet the minimum required insurance limits.
Qualifications:
•Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and industry applications
•5 years of insurance industry experience
•Underwriting experience a plus
•5 years customer service experience
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Self-starter and highly motivated.
•Must be able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Education:
•Bachelor's or associate Degree a plus, equivalent industry experience preferred
•Insurance P&C license preferred
