What are the responsibilities and job description for the Avionics Technician with FAA 145 Repairman's Certificate position at Aviation Partners Group Inc?
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team. Located at PGD Airport in sunny Punta Gorda, Florida
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Responsible for experienced aircraft avionics installation, updates and modifications, in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions and FAA regulations.
- Perform IFR and VFR certifications I/A/W FAR 91.411, 91.413, FAR 43 Appendix E & F.
- Bench repair a plus
- Training of Avionics technician

- Ability to work with project teams to successfully deliver new or modified functionalities.
- Keen attention to detail to deliver solutions that meet business requirements and are operationally supportable.
- General Aviation Installation, wire harness building, light metal work a plus, systems troubleshooting and repair experience a must.

- Must be experienced with GA aircraft under 25000 lbs. gross weight.
- Avionics Installation experience (aircraft under 25000 lbs. gross weight).
- Must have hand tools required to do the job.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must be computer literate.
- A & P license a plus but not required.
- DOT Pre-employment and random drug-testing.
- Must have experience installing the following GA MFG's equipment: Garmin, S-TEC, Aspen, Avidyne etc.
- Experience with installation and troubleshooting of New and Legacy Autopilots.
- Bench Repair a plus
- Individuals who have Part 145 experience, previously held either a Repairman Certificate.
APG Avionics is a Drug Free Workplace where applicants and employees are required to successfully pass pre-employment and Random drug testing.
Starting pay $35 an hour or negotiable depending on experience. Benefits after 90 days, medical, dental, vision, simple IRA, with company match, sick -personal leave and vacation leave
