Description
General Purpose
Help to plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the warehouse. Efficiently move gear inbound and outbound as well as doing Quality Control checks on gear upon return from show sites. Operate in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Preparation, organization, and coordination of equipment for shows as assigned.
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Driving box truck for delivery and pick-up of equipment
- Follow systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department.
- Coordinate with Project Managers on the details of all shows.
- Assist Project Managers and other departments regarding show order details, truck pack and overall needs.
- Contributes to meet department productivity and quality goals.
- Communicate with Warehouse Manager regarding warehouse daily operations.
- Review inbound equipment that has been identified as malfunctioning.
- Diagnose, log and repair equipment that does not pass QC standards.
- Ensure outbound equipment has been checked and all accessories/parts are included.
- Organize, clean, and store all equipment that has been tested or returned.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and assist others in troubleshooting Audio Visual equipment.
- Must be able to be stand for a majority of the shift.
- 1-3 years of experience working in a warehouse environment; working with audio, video, lighting, and screen systems.
- Ability to drive a Box Truck is a plus
- If this position requires driving a company vehicle, you must be in possession of a valid driver’s license. A clean driving record over the past three (3) years is required.
- This position requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
