Company Overview: Axis is an Atlanta, Georgia based real estate investment firm focused on the industrial real estate market. Axis is
investing on behalf of institutional and family office capital focused on acquisitions primarily located in markets
benefiting from nearshoring driven growth, East Coast and West Coast port markets, and Sun-Belt markets.
Role: Axis is seeking a candidate to join its team as an analyst who will be based in Austin, TX. The candidate should have approximately 0-2 years of experience working in real estate.
The primary role of this position will be to assist in the sourcing and underwriting of new acquisition opportunities
in target markets.
Responsibilities:
Given the entrepreneurial nature of the firm, the position requires that the candidate work in a variety of capacities.
The responsibilities will include:
• Evaluating and underwriting new investment opportunities
• Sourcing new investment opportunities
• Assisting in the due diligence process
• Assisting in the acquisition closing process
• Preparing investment committee presentations
• Researching and evaluating potential new growth markets
• Developing a database of acquisition opportunities
Requirements:
Applicant must demonstrate a strong understanding of real estate fundamentals or a strong interest in learning. The
candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to present analysis in a clear and
concise manner. The candidate must be a self-starter with a strong desire to work hard and contribute in a small
entrepreneurial work environment.
Specific requirements include:
• 0-2 years of real estate experience
• Experience building & operating complex real estate financial models
• Highly proficient in Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree from top university
• Strong desire to grow a career in real estate
• Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work under strict deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, multi-task and work in a lean group
