Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in supporting HR generalist activities, with a particular emphasis on employee training and development initiatives. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers, ensuring that HR programs, policies, and initiatives align with the organization's goals and culture. The HRBP will collaborate across departments to enhance workforce capabilities, improve engagement, and foster a positive work environment.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Human Resources and with a dotted line to the site Director of Operations, this role is based full-time at our facility in Mooresville, NC, and will serve as the primary Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Development:
- Coordinate and deliver employee training programs that align with organizational needs and strategic objectives.
- Assess training needs through surveys, focus groups, and collaboration with department leaders.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Assist in onboarding new hires, including facilitating orientation sessions and initial training.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Support managers in addressing employee performance issues and implementing improvement plans.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records, including training logs and performance documentation.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Talent Management:
- Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and opportunities for career growth.
- Support the annual performance management cycle, including goal setting, feedback, and evaluations.
- Collaborate on succession planning and development initiatives to strengthen the talent pipeline.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Gather and analyze data related to training participation, employee engagement, and other HR metrics.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to inform decision-making and measure progress on HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR generalist or training-focused role.
- Familiarity with training design and delivery methods, including e-learning tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and organizational development principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) or training-related certifications (e.g., CPTD).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $73,500 in our lowest market up to $89,500 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
