Our Retail Sales Key Holders are devoted to helping individuals and families create something fresh and new for their homes, while managing our stores including opening and closing, periodically throughout the week. As an Ashley Retail Sales Key Holder, you’ll do this not just by selecting furniture, but by also helping design customers' living space, matching customers to the perfect sleep systems and helping to manage the store with the store leadership team.
The Retail Sales Key Holder may be expected to provide full leadership over the store at any point in the absence of the Store Manager and Selling Sales Manager.
We are searching for a customer-facing salesperson to elevate our customers’ homes by selling complete furniture solutions and sleep systems. We are looking for motivated, goal-oriented sales professionals who have a passion for customer service and sales.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the store periodically throughout the week in the absence of the store leadership team.
- Greet and conduct needs-based conversations with customers
- Identify and fulfill customers’ home furnishing needs
- Generate sales through a consultative sales approach
- Build rapport and relationships with customers to promote repeat business
- Work with your manager and team to achieve sales goals
- Understand and explain most appropriate financing and protection plans to customers
- Demonstrate our product value and explain benefits that fulfill the customer's needs
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 1 year experience in 'high customer satisfaction expectation' positions, such as sales, hospitality, and various retail environments
- High energy with the ability to solve customers’ problems and fulfill their design and furniture needs
- Coachable and self-directed learner who is always willing to learn and takes initiative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial and team-oriented
- Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
