Job Overview
The Residential Specialist is responsible for creating a welcoming and safe environment for residents and guests while ensuring compliance with building rules, regulations, and policies. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with building operations, monitoring safety systems, and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly and genuine “Aloha Spirit” customer service.
- Greet and assist residents, guests, and contractors upon entering the property.
- Register and check-in guests and contractors.
- Maintain full knowledge of building functions, amenities, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate efficiently with team members using 2-way radio, including Phonetic Alphabet and Radio 10 codes.
- Manage incoming and outgoing packages and deliveries.
- Complete accurate and comprehensive reports such as incident reports, leak reports, and house rule violation reports.
- Ensure that management is informed immediately of any major events.
- Monitor building systems, including the Fire Alarm Monitoring System, and respond to alarms in compliance with the Operations Manual.
- Assist with water leak situations and respond to building disturbances.
- Contact emergency services, such as HPD or HFD, in case of unauthorized persons or fire.
- Log and store Lost & Found property.
- Follow OSHA regulations and ensure safety standards are met.
- Adhere to the AOUO Azure Ala Moana mission statement at all times.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of building procedures, security protocols, and emergency response practices.
- Proficiency in 2-way radio communications, including Phonetic Alphabet and Radio 10 codes.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, including administrative tasks, report writing, and safety monitoring.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and building system operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per year
