Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Use various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and join metal components
- Follow codes and standards for quality and safety
- Rig and lift heavy materials as required
- Solder or weld components together using appropriate techniques
- Operate plasma cutting equipment for precise cuts
- Perform pipe threading and bending tasks
Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively
- Familiarity with codes and standards related to metal fabrication
- Experience with plasma cutting, pipe threading, and press brake machines
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly of metal components
