BLVD Southfield is looking for skilled and energetic Bartenders to join our team. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in crafting high-quality drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a vibrant and welcoming bar atmosphere. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations, take orders, and create a lively bar experience.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws and company policies.
- Process transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including sanitizing tools, restocking, and setting up before each shift.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and follow safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling when needed, including serving bar snacks or appetizers.
- Stay informed on drink trends, seasonal menu changes, and new spirits to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven bartending experience in a high-energy bar or restaurant.
- Passion for mixology and knowledge of classic and modern cocktails.
- Strong multitasking skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
