The Back & Neck Center, a fast-growing Chiropractic and Medical Massage clinic in Wasilla, is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced Chiropractic Assistant / Front Desk Specialist. The position is full time and we offer a positive, caring, and supportive environment where our team thrives!
Job Responsibilities for Both Roles:
- Providing excellent patient care and assisting with daily clinic operations
- Ensuring smooth and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Engaging in patient interaction and communication
Specific Responsibilities for the Front Desk Role:
- Greeting and checking in / out patients
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
- Handling insurance verification and billing tasks
- Ensuring the clinic environment is welcoming and positive
Specific Responsibilities for the Chiropractic Assistant Role:
- Applying therapies as directed by the chiropractor
- Taking and processing x-rays
- Assisting the doctors with various clinical procedures
- Managing clinical notes, applying therapies, and assisting the team where needed
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with both staff and patients
- Self-starter, energetic, and a team player
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to adapt to a variety of tasks
- Chiropractic Medical Front Desk experience preferred (for Front Desk role)
- Previous chiropractic or medical assistant experience preferred (for Chiropractic Assistant role)
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, daytime hours 8:45AM – 6:15PM (at times start position may be 7:45AM for front desk coverage)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $18 - $20 depending on experience
- Free chiropractic care for you and your immediate family (exclusions apply)
- Paid leave and paid holidays after 90 days
- Continuing education stipend
