What You Will Do In Your Role
Pulling a tanker to designated customer/supplier location using designated routes
Delivering product safely by understanding and following SOP's
Maintaining a professional appearance for yourself and Bakelite’s equipment
Adhering to all rules and regulations of both Bakelite and DOT to safely operate company cargo tank vehicles
Maintaining a clean driving record while providing exceptional customer focus to both internal and external customers
Safely loading and off-loading chemical products
Work schedules can include variable start times, weekends, and holidays, according to DOT driver regulations.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
Current Class A Commercial Driver's License
Minimum of two (2) years verifiable commercial driving experience
Have one (1) or fewer chargeable or preventable motor vehicle accidents within the year preceding the date of application
Have one (1) or fewer violations of motor vehicle laws (other than violations involving parking only) within the year preceding the date of application
Must have all required DOT certifications by hire date to include Tanker Endorsement HazMat Endorsement, and Valid DOT Medical Card
Must comply facial hair guidelines for respirator usage (clean shaven)
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience with ELD (Electronic Logging Device)
One (1) or more years of experience driving a Cargo Tank
Experience handling of hazardous materials
Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary of at least $85,000, consisting of the following:
Mileage rate
Delay time (on duty/not driving)
