Salary: Starting at $18.00 per hour

Reports To: Assembly Supervisor
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Full-Time, Permanent, Some OT Required)
Job Summary: The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing products like pumps. This includes following procedures to ensure high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts by placing them in the correct position and fastening them (e.g., bolting, screwing).
- Operate machines (like presses) to perform assembly tasks.
- Use electrical and hydraulic test equipment to check product quality.
- Work at different stations as needed.
- Check returned materials for condition and decide if they can be repaired or reused.
- Repair or recondition products to be returned to stock or customers.
- Work with Sales and Engineering teams to understand product changes or customer needs.
- Keep track of work completed and attendance.
- Follow safety procedures, keep the work area clean, and wear protective gear.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Supervision:
- This role does not involve supervising others.
Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you need to perform the tasks listed above. Here are the requirements:
Education/Experience:
- A certificate from a technical school or one year of relevant experience. Or, 3-6 months of related experience or training.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
- Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Math Skills:
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to follow instructions (written, oral, or diagrams).
- Ability to solve problems using common sense.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk regularly, use hands to handle or feel items, and communicate.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities needed (close, distance, color, and depth perception).
Work Environment:
- May be exposed to moving parts and chemicals.
- Noise levels are typically moderate.
Training:
- New employees will be evaluated after 30, 60, and 90 days. Ongoing evaluations and training will be provided for regular employees.
