Position Summary :
The Turbomachinery Technician II works on custom and low volume product across multiple industries including defense, space, and aerospace. As an integral part of the team the technician will oversee all aspects of a product from component level assembly and test, shaft balance, final assembly, and test support. As a focal point on builds the technician will work closely with engineers and test engineers to improve designs and processes while delivering mission and project critical hardware.
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Ensure assembly and tests of the product are per specification and meet all quality requirements.
- Work on all cryogenic pumps, all single ended pumps, fans, and Welco products.
Perform simple balance, simple hydrostatic pressure tests, and interference fits.
Package the product to ensure quality is maintained and route the product to the next step.
2. Collaborate with all departments to ensure that information and data transfers effectively to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
3. Ensure safety of the employees and quality of the products throughout all processes.
4. Continuously improve procedures, processes and methods to ensure quality with zero defects and excursions.

Compensation and Benefits :
The hourly range for this role is $26 / hr. - $32 / hr. This range represent the anticipated minimum and maximum base bonus for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant’s qualifications (education, training and / or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
