Job Description:
The responsibilities include:
- Install, support, and troubleshoot network switches, firewalls, routers, virtual servers, and VoIP.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer trouble inquiries.
- Coordinate with 3rd party carriers and vendors to resolve network trouble.
- Maintain service order tickets and keep them up to date with accurate and detailed information.
- Be part of a 24x7x365 support team with on-call duties
Requirements:
- Understanding and expertise of PBX and VoIP
- Understanding and expertise of VMware, voice and data networks (POE switches)
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills
Non-Technical Skills:
- Strong work ethic and commitment to going “above and beyond” for customers.
- Able to work unsupervised, but also willing to seek direction, supervision, and training as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with a wide range of customers across many industries.
- Team player willing to help out in all areas.
Preferred:
- Experience with VoIP.
- Experience with network routing and security.
- 4 years’ experience.
