Now Hiring an Experienced Transportation Lead with a CDL
Local company is looking to hire an Transportation lead who will assist in the management of the fleet, routes, drivers, and DOT compliance.
Responsibilities May Include the following :
- Provide driver training, performance feedback, and provide disciplinary recommendations when necessary
- Directly supervise all activities of drivers and support personnel
- Provide guidance to subordinates on goals and objectives
- Be responsible for driver development, accountability, coaching and counseling
- Be responsible for assisting with the scheduling and routing of drivers
- Responsible for assisting with building routes by organizing customer deliveries into the most efficient, cost effective routes possible
- Assist with scheduling maintenance and repairs of fleet
- Assist with resolving delivery issues and customer complaints / concerns
- Ensure routes, drivers and fleet stay DOT compliant
- Assist with Accident investigation
