Our ideal PTA:
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
- Minimum of one year experience preferred, recent graduates are also welcomed.
- Adaptable and flexible with a desire to grow professionally and advance therapy skills.
- Interest in treating orthopedic conditions across the patient’s life span.
Position duties and responsibilities:
- Treat patients as a physical therapist assistant within the full scope of the PTA license.
- The potential to manage and treat your own caseload.
- Attain ASTYM certification.
- Attain orthopedic and geriatric advanced training.
Work Hour Requirements:
Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM– 5:00PM, Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30PM
*Sign On Bonus $2,500
*Salary Range: New Grads $50K

Responsibilities
Essential Functions of the Physical Therapist Assistant Role:
- Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations
- Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program
- Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist
- Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
Qualifications
Experience and Skills Required for Physical Therapist Assistant Position:
- Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required
- Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice required.
- Licensed in State of Lousiana
