Batteries Plus is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Effectiveness Coach to provide expert coaching and direction to franchise owners, driving commercial sales growth through effective leadership, training, and use of sales technologies. This role also involves managing outbound call agents, fostering a culture of proactive customer engagement, and ensuring seamless sales operations within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Coaching

  • Collaborate with franchise owners to develop and execute commercial sales growth strategies.
  • Provide coaching and training on the full sales process to franchise groups.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to ensure commercial sales success.
  • Develop actionable sales plans based on data analysis to meet business goals.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary contact for franchise groups regarding commercial needs, including bid requests, pricing, and vendor negotiations.

Planning and Administration

  • Gather feedback from field operations and franchise owners to refine sales tools and processes.
  • Partner with peers and sales management to enhance the sales program's overall effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, documenting development plans, follow-ups, and action steps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7 years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of success using consultative sales approaches.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience with sales or customer service teams preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and present growth opportunities effectively.
  • Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to regularly sit, use hands, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Close vision and regular use of standard office equipment required.
  • Noise levels in the office environment are typically quiet.
