Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate possesses the ability to perform the following patient services activities with positivity and excellence:
· Warmly greet every patient with eye contact and a smile
· Register new patients and let them know what to expect during their visit
· Schedule appointments
· Verify insurance and present information to patients clearly and concisely
· Collect co-pays
· Obtain insurance authorizations when required
· Be a team player
Schedule:
· Type of Employment: Full time
· Hours: 40 per week - this includes Saturday rotation
· Medical plan: Yes (24 hours)
· Retirement plan: Yes (32 hours)
· Previous medical office experience: Required
· Previous experience with insurance/billing: Preferred
We are looking for someone with strong people skills, a willingness to learn general receptionist duties, and a team player!
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must be fluent in Spanish and English
· High School graduate - or equivalent
· Previous experience in a medical office
Preferred Qualifications:
· Insurance Verification experience
· Ability to use all necessary office equipment (faxes, copiers, computers, telephones, etc.)
