Qualifications for Homemaker / Personal Care Caregivers :
Have at least one year of verifiable work experience preferably in a healthcare related field (but not required).
Job Responsibilities for Homemakers :
- Perform light homemaking assistance, including help with personal laundry, meal preparation, and food shopping.
- Provide companionship
- Assist with maintenance of a safe physical environment
Job Responsibilities for Personal Care Caregivers (Post-Training) :
- Activities of daily living
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Vital sign checks : temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks : laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
