The Branch Manager provides guidance and manages branch operations and production ensuring excellent customer service. Administers operation of a branch office with total savings deposits of varying amounts under the guidance of the institution’s goals and other standards. Branch Managers are responsible for the overall success of their bank branch. They must work to ensure that they are providing the highest possible degree of banking services and products to their customers along with exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers to build relationships and support financial needs.
- Manage overall branch office operations, including scheduling, ordering cash, and all other daily functions.
- Maintains and grows a profitable branch through disciplined and proactive business development and relationship management.
- Participates in community events and networking activities to increase awareness and presence of BayVanguard Bank in the community.
- Establish and support staff through internal performance objections.
- Adhere with Bank Polices and Procedures.
- Leads team through coaching, performance management, and setting goals.
- Must stay current on operational, product and system updates.
- Oversee/supervise all balancing functions including cash, ATM, etc.
- Handle or assist staff with complex account problems/issues to resolve.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of regulatory banking practices and procedures
- Three years of branch banking experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Extensive background in financial institution operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development and public relations
